We’re Hiring for a Sr Financial Analyst!
**THE ROLE** : The Sr Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial management, oversight, internal controls, and guidance at our Texarkana, Arkansas facility.
**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Support the overall forecast and budget processes and management for Smith-Blair through the understanding of the revenue, margins, expenses, capital spending, special projects, headcount, inflation, material cost, etc. ensuring clear understanding of all variances and critical evaluation of input. (Key result: All variances from forecast, budget and prior year can be adequately explained, and improvements that can be made to enhance future forecast accuracy).
+ Perform month end and quarter end close tasks, reconciliations and reporting requirements.
+ Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reporting requirements for headquarters.
+ Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reporting for internal Senior Leaders including but not limited spend tracking, headcount, labor cost, material cost, inflation, etc.
+ Develop and implement financial trend reports to identify areas of opportunity and risks within the business.
+ Understand capital expenditure process.
+ Partner with the Americas Accounting organization to ensure any accounting treatment impacts are accurately and adequately forecasted and understood.
+ Ensure and drive the implementation of standard processes and procedures to ensure data integrity and completeness.
+ Create and drive a continuous improvement culture and with a focus on automation and simplification.
+ Responsible for internal control compliance (SOX) at the Texarkana site.
+ Oversee the preparation and execution of the annual physical inventory process.
+ Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities.
+ Ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed by management. Time would usually be of the essence in these analyses.
+ Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on organizational needs.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or accounting with a minimum of 5 years of business experience desired.
+ Must have a working knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
+ Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and OneStream skills.
+ Must have the ability to engage business process owners in a direct yet professional manner.
+ Must have the ability to thoroughly evaluate business processes and quickly identify potential control gaps.
+ Requires demonstrated skill in written and oral communications and interview skills.
+ Highest standards of accuracy and precision.
+ Be highly organized and a high attention to detail.
+ Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to think creatively. Be highly driven and self-motivated.
+ Ability to lead cross-functional projects.
+ Problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical skills a must along with the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ A desire for continuous improvement.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Salary range:
$72,300.00 - $130,100.00
