**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This role is critical in providing insightful financial analysis, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting key stakeholders, including market leaders and high-level producers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. This individual will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including customized reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, bonus calculations, payouts, and supporting financial operations.
This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for the maintenance of accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.
**What You’ll Do:**
Customized Reporting & Analysis:
+ Develop and maintain customized financial reports to meet the specific needs of various departments and stakeholders.
+ Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
+ Provide insightful commentary and recommendations based on financial analysis.
+ Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
Balance Sheet Reconciliations:
+ Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
+ Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
+ Maintain supporting documentation for all reconciliations.
Accruals:
+ Prepare and maintain accurate accrual calculations for various expenses.
+ Ensure accruals are properly recorded in accordance with GAAP.
Bonus Calculations, Distributions & Payouts:
+ Calculate and process bonus payments, distributions and payouts accurately and timely.
Communication & Stakeholder Management:
+ Communicate financial information and analysis to market leaders and high-level producers.
+ Provide clear and concise explanations of financial performance.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Contract Review:
+ Review contracts to identify and action items related to bonuses, expenses, and other financial implications.
+ Ensure contracts are accurately reflected in financial records.
Expense Approvals:
+ Review and approve expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
+ Investigate and resolve expense-related issues.
Project Codes & Labor Allocations:
+ Manage and maintain project codes and labor allocations.
+ Ensure accurate allocation of costs to projects.
Special Requests & Inquiries:
+ Respond to special requests and inquiries from various departments and stakeholders.
+ Provide timely and accurate information to support decision-making.

+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5+ years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
+ Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
+ Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
+ Experience with financial reporting software (e.g., Cadency).
+ Understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
+ Experience in the commercial real estate industry is a plus.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr FA position is $110,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for the Sr FA position position is $145,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
