We are looking to hire a Sr Finance Manager in a Hybrid (60/40) capacity for our site in Mexico City. This is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Position Overview:
The Senior Manager- FP&A is responsible for leading, developing, and building a specialist capability to produce insight, analysis, and reporting.  This role will be a critical business partner and support the Global Functional leads, Leadership, and the Business. This position will support driving FP&A excellence through best practice adoption, knowledge sharing, and process transformation to develop a global standard and ensure high-quality service for internal customers. This includes fully leveraging and exploiting technology and analytical / visualization tools to drive insight and efficiency. The Sr. Manager will lead a team of analysts and be required to build and maintain strong relationships across Global Functions,  provide strong technical stewardship and direction to the SG&A CoE team.  In addition, the Sr. Manager will actively identify ways to eliminate non-value work and look for opportunities to innovate new ways to drive insight for the business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Financial liaison to Global and Regional Business Partners, including preparing annual budgets, long-term planning, quarterly forecasts, month-end close processes, and ad hoc analytics. Drives the accurate consolidation of SG&A and develops clear narratives around the strategic direction of each Global Function, as well as their impacts on the P&L within Corporate and the Regions.   Leads, manages, and supports the production of value-added insights into the operating results of the business and works with functional leaders to make suggestions on how to overcome gaps and make improvements related to SG&A.   Leads FP&A Analysts supporting Global Functions, including owning training, onboarding, building, and maintaining supportive relationships, and adhering to deadlines and deliverables. Leads, manages, and supports the talent and capability within the team, including accountability for the team’s talent management processes and employee development. Ensure integrity, financial control, SOX compliance, and proper approvals and accounting treatment in line with policies and procedures for all related key activities. Ensure all reporting and financial procedures are aligned with corporate guidelines and legal requirements. Provides support to other key areas, including IT  , Global Business Services, Investor Relations, Treasury, Controllership, and Supply Chain/Procurement. Other ad hoc analysis and project support as required. Support other Finance partners in the overall analysis of SG&A impact to P&L.

 

Required Qualifications:

Completed Professional Degree - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. 6+ years of progressive financial analysis and/or planning experience.        2+ years of demonstrated management and supervision experience. Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel (pivots, vlookups) and basic PowerPoint & Word proficiency required.  Strong analytical, communication, and organization skills required.  Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of different financial and analytical techniques and the capability to plan own work and respect deadlines.  Advanced or fluent English (spoken and written).

Interpersonal & Leadership Skills: 

Demonstrated dynamic self-starter. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required to exchange complicated or sensitive information.  Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and financial analysis.

Other Skills:

Innovative - Develops new solutions to solve business problems and obstacles.  Proposes and implements improvements to systems, methods of work, and analysis methods, and contributes to ensuring that they are continuously adapted to the business requirements.  Handling Complexity - Analyze/solve business problems with incomplete or ambiguous information.  Teamwork – effectively works across the finance team and business functions

Preferred  Qualifications:

SAP/BW/TM1 experience is desirable
