About the Job:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and thoughtful analysis to facilitate financial planning and decision-making processes.
Your main responsibilities include:
Assisting in the process for\n timely and accurate accounting (in accordance with US and local GAAP (HGB)\n guidelines) with associated reporting, while complying with all internal\n and legislated deadlinesCreating and posting general\n ledger journal entries, reconciling and analyzing accountsPreparing the US GAAP to HGB\n reconciliation and necessary HGB journal entries and commentary needed for\n the creation of the HGB (statutory) annual financial statementsCoordinating the ongoing\n process to monitor timely and accurate accounting, including the adequacy\n of supporting documentationCoordinating and creation of\n complete and accurate account reconciliations for the general ledger\n accounts of all legal entities on a timely basisParticipating in internal,\n external, and tax-related auditsDocumenting and implementing\n necessary internal control processes (including Sarbanes-Oxley) within the\n scope of responsibilityPreparing and submitting\n statistics for the State Office/Federal Office of StatisticsRepresenting the Senior Finance\n Manager/Plant Controller along with the Senior Finance Supervisor -\n Controlling
We require:
Completed degree in economics\n (university/college) or comparable professional experience or training as\n a certified accountant6-7 years of relevant professional\n experienceApplied HGB / US GAAP knowledgeProficient knowledge of\n Microsoft Office, especially Word and ExcelGood written and spoken English\n language skillsFluent German language skillsSAP knowledge, preferably in\n the FI module, CO module knowledge desirableWe value:
