Sr Engineering Test Engineer
We are looking for a **Sr. Engineering Test Engineer** to temporarily join the **NPI Manufacturing** team. This role is critical to ensure the success of pilot builds and product launches through the deployment of functional test stations (FFT, ICT), technical support during validation phases, and key activities in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME), focusing on **productibility, scalability, and process stability** . **JOB DUTIES:** + Implement and adjust functional test stations (FFT, ICT) in coordination with Engineering and Manufacturing. + Perform functional failure debug on both product and test benches. + Support EVT/DVT testing and pilot builds, ensuring test coverage and station stability. + Document technical findings in a structured manner and generate clear, actionable reports. + Ensure compliance with quality standards, manufacturability, and test functionality. + Participate in design reviews with a DFM/DFA perspective. + Collaborate in developing manufacturing processes, line layouts, station balancing, and test requirements. + Support validation of manufacturing capacity from pilot to ramp-up. **YOU MUST HAVE:** + Experience with functional test stations in a manufacturing environment. + Practical knowledge of test automation with C#, LabVIEW, Python, or TestStand. + Ability to debug functional failures in both product and test benches. + Experience in EVT, DVT validations or pilot builds. + Experience in NPI or electronic manufacturing environments. + Technical English (reading and documentation). + High pressure tolerance and focus on meeting deadlines. + **This position will be on a fixed-term contract for one year.** **WE VALUE:** + Familiarity with firmware validation, ICT, and advanced manufacturing processes. + Ability to clearly document and communicate technical issues. + Conversational English for global collaboration. + Experience using documentation systems such as Enovia or Agile. + Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) for product information, BOMs, cost tracking, routing, and purchasing. **WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?** + Benefits that go beyond Mexican labor law, ensuring your well-being and peace of mind. + A collaborative and inclusive work environment where your contributions are valued. + Opportunities for continuous professional growth and skill development through training, mentoring, and challenging projects. + Access to cutting-edge tools, resources, and a supportive team to help you excel. + The chance to work with a global, innovative company shaping the future in its industry. \#LI-MV1 \#LI-Onsite Resideo is a $6.76 billion global manufacturer, developer, and distributor of technology-driven sensing and control solutions that help homeowners and businesses stay connected and in control of their comfort, security, energy use, and smart living.
