Military encouraged to apply. **Job Description** The purpose of this Knoxville, TN based job is to design, maintain, and upgrade critical cloud-related infrastructure running on Windows and Unix for the IT organization. This person is expected to have a well-rounded framework of knowledge around the software development lifecycle, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code languages and platforms. This person will also display knowledge around cloud best practices and security. 1. Manage and execute cloud infrastructure projects to improve the efficiency, availability, and performance of the company’s cloud-hosted systems 2. Determine project specifications based on business and user needs, and review pricing options for projects based on current service prices 3. Research, Architect, develop, and help implement processes and workloads on AWS and other cloud providers 4. Assist in the resolution of complex performance and availability issues 5. Architect and build CICD and Infrastructure as Code for cloud workloads 6. Provide feedback on issues to appropriate developers and IT team members to improve functionality and performance 7.
