We are seeking a hands-on Senior Engineer at CHII to lead strategic technical initiatives and drive product development and integrations for Navista's Application Services. In this role, the Sr. Engineer will design innovative solutions, provide technical leadership, and maintain operational excellence across our application portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a hands-on technical leader, designing scalable, reliable solutions, writing high-quality code, automating workflows, and reviewing deliverables.Own the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), applying Agile methodologies and engineering best practices.Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.Provide architectural leadership, influencing design decisions and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.Lead solution reviews and ensure quality across all stages of the application lifecycle—from ideation to deployment.Identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and technical improvement, including reduction of technical debt.Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to drive integrated, high-impact outcomes.Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented team culture.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 10+ years of equivalent industry experience8+ years of full-stack engineering experience (web, mobile, backend, DevOps)Expertise in the Java ecosystem, with mastery in Microservices and Event-Driven ArchitecturesStrong cloud-native development skills (GCP, Azure, AWS) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu)Hands-on DevSecOps experience: CI/CD (Concourse, Jenkins), Terraform, GitOpsWorking knowledge of Apigee or similar API integration platformsProven application security expertise: OAuth2, JWT, API key management, etc.Experience integrating enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, SAP) (preferred)Experience implementing or consuming AI in the application layer (preferred)Familiarity with data platforms (e.g., GCP BigQuery, GCS, Tableau) (desirable)Strong communication skills – ability to translate technical concepts for business and leadership audiencesExperience in healthcare technology (highly preferred)Job Location: Bangalore, India
