Job Description

Drive workforce transformation by enabling the right technologies. The Sr Endpoint Engineer is the technical and operational lead in maintaining our modern endpoint platforms. The focus will be ensuring we provide a secure, resilient infrastructure and maintain simple, secure device management. This position is responsible for implementing hardened standards to enable secure business strategy and deliver targeted business outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:Implement hardened standards on Endpoint Colleague technologiesAnalyze, influence, and translate cybersecurity requirements into technical and operational requirementsBuild and securely configure, manage, inventory, and deploy new configurations to enable cybersecurity strategic technologies for internal usePartner and collaborate in the planning and designing of architecture, strategy, and roadmap of endpoint technologies in alignment with the organization's long-range technology visionInteract with IT and business units across the enterprise to analyze, interpret, and solve challengesAssess and maintain processes to fortify endpoint software and OS improvementsProvide Tier 3 SME level operations support & mentorship for high impact issues and major incidentsCollaborate with technical and non-technical teams, conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiencesStay current with AI Endpoint related technologies to add secure efficiencies

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:8+ years of IT desktop engineering experience showcasing a growing progression of responsibilitiesProficient in areas such as Desktop/laptop/tablet/smartphone, operating systems, mobility, enterprise systems design, management, asset management, endpoint system security, and standard methodologiesExpertise in Endpoint management supporting technologies including SCCM, Active Directory, Windows Modern Desktop, Mosyle, Azure, VDI solutions, Microsoft Intune, O365, etc.Expertise with technical hardening standards such as NIST, CIS Benchmarks, etc.Expertise with platform security tools such as Crowdstrike, Symantec, Microsoft Bitlocker, and Defender SuiteStrong experience in designing, deploying, and supporting Windows 10 and 11 operating systems using Intune and SCCMExpertise with Windows 10 and 11 Enterprise, IoT and LTSC, macOSStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsProven success in communicating with and influencing decision-makers of all levels, including technology and business leadersDemonstrating success in implementing architectural strategies and using solutions that solve business problems, and are scalable and balancedBroad and deep expertise in the end user technology industry, providers, and design practicesExperience in a penetration test team or “red team” environment preferred

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $113,500.00–$165,000.00.
