Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech **We are searching for the best talent for Sr EHS Engineer.** **Purpose:** Sr EHS Engineer will play a pivotal role in shaping JnJ CR Safety and Industrial Hygiene management strategy by leading critical initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance and keeping continuous improvement in EHS programs **You will be responsible for** **:** + Completes and submits Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) regulatory agency applications, permits, and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. + Coordinates facilities, equipment, and operations inspections in order to identify and evaluate risk factors and eliminate potential hazards and/or hazardous processes. + Coordinates EH&S-based education programs, from employee safety training programs to site-specific certification courses. + Implements employee engagement programs that cultivate environmental sustainability, eliminate hazards in the workplace, and drive towards zero injuries and incidents. + Creates site EH&S protocols and guidelines for all departments within the organization. + Maintains required records and reports associated with EHS related permits and authorizations. + Lead Industrial Hygiene programs and best practices' implementation. + Develops extensive knowledge of EH&S regulations and standards in order to ensure the organization and its operations are in full compliance. + Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes and responsibilities. + Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team. + Develop and implement machine safety and zero access programs for business units. **Qualifications / Requirements:** **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental, Health and Safety Engineering **Experience and Skills:** **Required:** + 6+ years of experience of EHS programs implementation + 3+ years of medical industry and/or plant experience + Fluent written and spoken English is required + Strong communication & interpersonal skills + ISO 45001 implementation/sustaining experience + Solid understanding of NFPA, ANSI and OSHA requirements **Preferred:** + ISO 50001 and ISO 45001 implementation/sustaining experience + Experience in start-up /green field projects + Machine Safety / IH certifications \#LI-Onsite
