Sr Director Gov Relations

The Senior Director of Government Relations will be responsible for developing and executing the company's government relations strategy. This role involves leading a team of three professionals, supporting Greater China including China, Hongkong, Macau and Taiwan, driving government relations initiatives, and managing geopolitical challenges to advance the company's interests and objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in government relations, a deep understanding of the government at national and provincial levels, an understanding of automation and energy policy, and a proven track record of successful advocacy.
+ Develop and implement a comprehensive government relations strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives, with a focus on energy and automation.
+ Lead and manage a team of government relations professionals, providing leadership and guidance to ensure the achievement of team goals.
+ Drive government relations initiatives and manage geopolitical challenges to ensure the company's success in a complex environment.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, policymakers, and regulatory agencies.
+ Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the company, and provide strategic advice to senior management, with a focus on energy and automation related issues.
+ Advocate for the company's interests before government officials and regulatory agencies.
+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of government relations activities with business goals.
+ Represent the company in industry associations, coalitions, and other forums to advance the company's policy objectives.
+ Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and other communications to senior management and external stakeholders.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ 15+ years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field
+ Strong knowledge of government processes, policies, and regulations
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
+ Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels

+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
+ Knowledge of the industry and regulatory landscape
+ Experience in a corporate government relations role
+ Industrial experience in Energy / Automation will be a plus
