Job Posting TitleSr Director Clinical Strategy and Oncology Specialty Solutions- REMOTEJob DescriptionThe Senior Director Clinical Strategy and Oncology Specialty Solutions is responsible for owning the execution of Prime's oncology specialty products and programs, as well as the development of strategic business roadmaps that integrate both medical and pharmacy solutions. This position will provide leadership and direction through leading a team focused on executing on functional business plans and strategies. This role will collaborate with other leaders to achieve the successful execution of strategic business initiatives and the delivery of innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead the vision, strategy, and implementation of integrating medical and pharmacy solutions, fostering collaboration across departments and ensuring the seamless delivery of services to clientsProvide direction, leadership and subject matter expertise to team members ensuring business initiatives are appropriately staffed and executed through effective oversight of department leadershipLead the design and implementation of innovative drug solutions, including optimizing optimize drug utilization, patient outcomes, and cost-effectiveness through value-based care models, digital health initiatives, and patient support programManage the ongoing development and maintenance of innovation and specialty roadmap, ensuring successful harmonization and driving executionManage relationships with external partners and service providers, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and the successful execution of specialty solutionsMonitor and assess market trends, data, drug pipelines, and competitive intelligence to drive continuous improvement in clinical offeringsRepresent the organization as a thought leader at industry conferences, client meetings, and advisory boardsOther duties as assignedEducation & Experience
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degreeCurrent pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy in the State where the position is located8 years of work experience within medical and pharmacy drug management within a PBM or managed care organization, or oncology management experience if supporting oncology specialty solutions6 years of leadership/people management experienceMust be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorshipAdditional Qualifications
Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of driving innovation solutions and growthStrong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive clinical and financial outcomesExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilitiesKnowledge of healthcare regulations, payer strategies, and compliance requirementsProficient in Microsoft products, including excel and powerpointAbility to manage complex projects across the enterprise through cross-collaborationPreferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Business Administration or Public Health or Oncology Pharmacy Specialty Certification BCOPExperience in specialty drug management (trends, biosimilars, gene therapies, emerging treatment modalities), value-based care, medical and pharmacy drug benefits and population health strategiesExperience working with health plans, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and provider networks to optimize specialty drug servicesExperience in digital healthcare tools and artificial intelligenceExperience in developing new innovation solutions within the PBM/healthcare industryPhysical Demands
