The Senior Director ofServices and Digital SolutionsTransformation, is responsible for leading key enterprise initiatives that advance Patterson’s strategic growth in Value Added Services and Digital Experience. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy and Development Officer, this individual will drive cross-functional execution, support change management, and ensure that transformation efforts deliver measurable customer and business impact. Over time, successful initiatives may evolve into new business ventures, and the individual in this role would be expected to continue leading these businesses as they scale and mature. The role partners closely with business unit leaders, functional teams, and the Transformation Office to deliver critical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Transformation Leadership
Lead transformation programs focused on accelerating Patterson’s Services and Digital Solutions strategy.
Develop and manage initiative charters, roadmaps, and success metrics, ensuring initiatives are clearly scoped, resourced, and executed.
Coordinate across business units and functional teams to maintain alignment, momentum, and accountability.
Proactively identify transformation initiatives that have the potential to scale into future business platforms or revenue streams and lead their evolution from concept to operating model.
Monitor initiative performance, risks, and interdependencies, and take corrective action where necessary.
Program Management and Execution
Implement disciplined program management practices to ensure high-impact delivery on time and within budget.
Build and lead initiative teams, clarifying roles, objectives, and timelines to maintain traction and transparency.
Prepare executive updates and initiative dashboards to track KPIs, milestones, and return on investment.
Support consistent use of tools and governance standards as defined by the Transformation Office.
Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement
Drive adoption of new capabilities and operating models through structured change management practices.
Partner with Communications, HR, and business leaders to create change readiness and communicate transformation objectives.
Engage directly with initiative stakeholders to ensure alignment, resolve issues, and support execution effectiveness.
Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Strategic Collaboration
Serve as the primary transformation liaison for Services and Digital Solutions within the broader Transformation Office.
Collaborate with the Patient Square Capital Transformation and Growth team to ensure alignment and leverage shared capabilities.
Act as a thought partner to senior leaders, providing insight into transformation priorities and execution dependencies.
Qualifications and Experience:
10+ years of experience in strategic transformation, program management, digital solutions, or service innovation within healthcare, distribution, life sciences, or a related industry.
Strong track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes.
Demonstrated experience in applying structured program management and change management methodologies.
Experience scaling initiatives from pilot phases into operational business models is a strong plus.
Strong executive presence and ability to communicate effectively across levels and functions.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
Location:
Mendota Heights, MN or Loveland, CO strongly preferred. Remote options considered for exceptional candidates.
The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills. $135,800.00 - $169,800.00
