The Sr Director, Business Unit Leader- Neuroscience leads the commercial team in Lilly Korea for our Alzheimers/Neuroscience portfolio. This role will lead Sales and Marketing organizations, launching assets in our late stage portfolio and preparing for future launches in our pipeline. This role will be responsible for all strategic, operational and financial decisions related to our Neuroscience brands, carries significant responsibility for leading and directing the broad strategic decisions and cross functional teams, including engagement with our International/Global colleagues around the world.
This individual in this role is also a member of the Lilly Korea leadership team and is expected to be an active member of the team, helping to advance the broader goals of the organization.

People:
Lead, coach and develop a diverse team of sales and marketers as they look to reach people suffering from related diseases. Identify key talent ready to advance outcomes of patients and their caregivers Develop a performance-driven culture across both direct and indirect reports in order to continue to drive change in the healthcare ecosystem in order to accelerate reaching patients in Korea. Participate on the affiliate Leadership Team with responsibility to foster an environment where employees feel welcomed, valued, respected and heard. Work across boundaries – partnering with international teams, as well as a variety of different stakeholders in the marketplace and within Lilly to maximize the brand opportunity.Patients:
Develop a clear and relevant overview of the Alzheimers patient landscape in Korea including, but not exclusively - diagnosis, imaging, referral patterns, treatment flow, infusion capacity, treatment options. Understand the needs for people with Alzheimers in Korea, as well as their caregivers. Leverage global & regional commercialization strategies embedded in the local plans to accelerate speed to market and minimize workload. Lead external engagement with key stakeholders (Patient assistance groups, government, HCPs and medical centers)Performance
Set a clear vision and direction for Lilly Korea Neuroscience business and prepare for future needs of the portfolio. Build a strong operational plan to maximize market impact of in market brands and prepare for near term launches utilizing a variety of channels, which will drive a positive customer experience. Build a plan to achieve financial goals, maximizing revenue and managing expenses efficiently. Ensure that Ethics and Compliance is at the center of all decisions and operations within the team.Qualifications:
5+ years of consistent and sustained top performance in a marketing leadership role (e.g., Marketing Manager or equivalent) required. Product launch experience is preferred. Sales management experience preferred New Product Planning and/or product launch experience preferredNeuroscience experience preferredPerformance driven mindset and a desire to shape the future of healthcare Proven people management experience with ability to develop, coach, retain, and lead a patient centric & winning team. Strong business acumen and analytical skills with expertise in strategic planning, analysis and brand management to develop brand and business strategic direction. Passion for engaging externally with ability to develop Thought Leader & key stakeholder relationships, in line with brand strategy. Strong Communication skills, with ability to influence across functions, regionals and geographies.
