Job Summary
The Senior Director, Financial Operations is responsible for leading and overseeing financial operations to support the organization's strategic goals and ensure financial health across multiple functional areas. This role provides executive leadership in areas such as budgeting, financial planning, revenue cycle management, and financial compliance, depending on the needs of the department. The Senior Director collaborates with executive leadership, finance teams, and operational departments to develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies that enhance efficiency, improve fiscal responsibility, and support organizational growth.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required 7-9 years of experience in financial operations, with significant experience in a senior leadership role within a complex organization required 3-5 years financial analysis, accounting and/or auditing experience in a healthcare environment preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Comprehensive knowledge of financial operations, revenue cycle management, budgeting, and compliance requirements. Advanced analytical and strategic thinking skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and guide high-impact financial decisions. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor teams and foster collaboration across departments. Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey financial insights to executive leadership and stakeholders. Project management skills to oversee multiple financial initiatives, ensure timely execution, and support continuous improvement.Licenses and Certifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred or Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) preferred
