The role youll contribute:

The Director of Division Safety and Security ensures campus security procedures and initiatives align with the goals and objectives of AdventHealth System Security throughout the Division and in coordination with the Region and Division. Primary responsibilities include coordinating and executing campus security operations to include security training, communications, technology, planning, development, monitoring, and coordination of security activities and investigations. Standardizing and optimizing emergency management planning across the Division. Responsible for implementation of security policies and procedures, response to emergent situations, and performing Security Risk Assessments. Hires and leads campus security team. Partners with local law enforcement and other public agencies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The value youll bring to the team:

Ensures Security Department compliance with the organization's policies and procedures, as well as TJC, federal, state and local statutes, and regulations.

Serves as Chair of the Security Council for the Campuses and Division.

Performs annual security audits, and risk assessments.

Interprets security policies and procedures and ensures compliance with matters such as the wearing of ID badges, issuing of parking violations, and performing internal investigations.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's

5 years of Work Experience

0 years of Leadership Experience

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)

International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS)

Driver's License (DL)

Preferred qualifications:

Master's

Certified Protection Professional (CPP)

Physical Security Professional (PSP)
