Role Purpose

Leading mechanical design activities of HV components like Battery, OBC & DCDC converter

Responsibilities/ task

Key Responsibilities with brief description according to priority

Having Mechanical design experience around 6-8 years (BE/BTech) 3-5 years (ME/MTech)Able to read and interpret the requirement document given by customer and convert it in design requirementExperience in Handling complex 3D models & 2D drawings in PLM environment (Catia preferred)Detail understanding of manufacturing processes like HPDC, Sheet metal stamping & Plastic Injection moulding and understand design requirements based on these manufacturing processUnderstands material selection for HV component designUnderstands simulation requirements & give inputs to CAE team for required simulationsDeep understanding of GD&T application, drawings reviewReview basic design calculations (structural & thermal) / prepared some calculator templatesCompleted at least one design & development cycleUnderstands BEV/HEV systems, Detail component working of HV battery, OBC & DCDC converterBasic understanding of FMEA & other quality toolsGood communication skills
