We are currently seeking a Sr Delivery Leader to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee (US-TN), United States (US).

Position Overview 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Leader to join our Delivery Leadership Practice at Launch by NTT DATA. You will be responsible for managing complex client engagements from project initiation through successful completion, while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring exceptional project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities 

Client Relationship & Partnership Management 

Grow and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle, serving as primary point of contact 

Stay aligned with Business Unit strategy from opportunity identification through project completion 

Maintain daily client contact and relationships, setting clear expectations and reporting on delivery progress 

Serve as first point of escalation for client issues, resolving directly or escalating as needed 

Manage scope discussions and negotiations with clients, alerting teams of scope changes 

Manage and write change orders based on input from delivery teams 

Project Delivery & Execution 

Take full responsibility for overall delivery and health of assigned projects 

Lead project startup activities including demand requests, WBS creation, resource selection, finance alignment, budget tracking, and team onboarding 

Lead client kick-offs and set clear project goals and expectations 

Maintain RAID logs, run status reports, and continuously monitor and adjust delivery progress 

Create comprehensive reports and track overall roadmap delivery progress 

Provide scope estimations (in collaboration with the development team leadership cohort) and tracking 

Create delivery timelines and ensure alignment across all teams 

Ensure smooth day-to-day project operations and delivery processes 

Budget & Resource Management 

Manage project budgets proactively to maintain targeted margins, including WBS management and invoicing approvals 

Onboard and offboard team resources, including coordination of client equipment and access 

Maintain constant communication with delivery teams and stakeholders 

Work with practice leads to resolve personnel and performance issues as needed 

Maintain team health and morale across cross-functional teams 

 

Required Qualifications 

Experience & Background 

8+ years of experience in project/program management with demonstrated success in complex technology projects in a client services environment 

5+ years of experience in client-facing roles with proven relationship management skills 

Strong background in Agile methodologies and product management principles 

Experience managing large, cross-functional teams in consulting, agency, or enterprise software environments 

Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction 

Technical Competencies 

Deep expertise in both Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Waterfall delivery methodologies 

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and modern delivery practices 

Experience with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.) 

Proficiency in budget management, resource planning, and financial tracking 

Knowledge of product management principles and roadmap development 

Leadership & Communication Skills 

Exceptional client relationship management and communication skills 

Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships simultaneously 

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure 

Experience in conflict resolution and escalation management 

Ability to translate technical concepts into business value propositions 

Product & Delivery Management 

Experience with product roadmap development and prioritization 

Understanding of user story creation and backlog management 

Familiarity with sprint planning and Agile ceremonies 

Experience with scope management and change control processes 

Knowledge of KPI tracking and value measurement methodologies 

Success Metrics 

Client satisfaction scores and relationship health indicators 

Project delivery performance (on-time, on-budget, scope adherence) 

Team engagement and productivity metrics 

Product value delivery and KPI achievement 

Effective scope and change management 

Budget variance and margin performance 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

Experience in digital transformation or innovation consulting 

Certification in project management (PMP, CSM, SAFe, etc.) 

Experience with Launch's target industries (Fortune 500, manufacturing, professional services) 

Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
