**Job Description:** **Location: Remote** **Duration: 5 months contract (with possible extension)** **Top 3 things looking when reviewing resumes:** + Certifications (DCAM, CISSP, CISA and CRISC at the top of the list) + Experience in prior Sr. Analyst roles supporting Data Governance preferable, general technology/cyber security risk roles acceptable + Experience with mid/large sized financial institutions **Key Responsibilities:** + The contractor(s) will support ongoing Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities within the Data Governance and Risk Oversight function, including: + Review and Challenge of First Line Data Governance Program Deliverables + Evaluate remediation plans and deliverables. + Provide independent challenge to ensure alignment with enterprise data governance standards and regulatory expectations. + Issue Verification Related to Data Issues + Conduct verification activities for data-related issues to confirm effective remediation. + Collaborate with first-line teams to assess root cause analysis and sustainability of fixes. + Risk and Control Evaluation + Assess data-related risks and evaluate the design and effectiveness of associated controls. + Support risk assessments and control testing activities as needed. + Metric Calculation and Review + Assist in the calculation of key data risk and control metrics. + Review and challenge metric methodologies and results to ensure accuracy and relevance **Experience Required:** + Sr Analyst role with minimum 8+ years of experience in data management, technology risk, or cyber risk management. + Experience with second-line risk functions or data governance roles within financial services **Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Skills:** + Strong familiarity with the Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM) framework. + Deep understanding of data governance principles and regulatory expectations. + Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. + Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. + Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities. **Education:** Bachelors degree or equivalent experience **Certifications (any):** + Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM), Cloud Data Management Capabilities (CDMC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Governance, Risk and Compliance Certification (CGRC), Information Systems Management Professional (ISSMP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) **About US Tech Solutions:** US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
