**Job Description:**
This job is responsible for the execution of data architectural solutions for complex initiatives that span multiple Lines of Business and control functions. Key responsibilities include facilitating solution driven discussions, working with stakeholders to support adherence to the enterprise data management policy and standards, and supporting architecture design reviews to ensure integration of data architecture principles in technology solutions. Job expectations include educating data management teams on enterprise data architectural principles and data management processes and routines.
Directs, manages, plans and administers the operational and administrative activities of the Systems Architecture section. Develops, plans and schedules the development, introduction, communication and maintenance of the corporate systems architecture including the applications, data, and infrastructure architectures and assures that this architecture is integrated with the business area architectures and data governance. Assures that the corporate architecture is consistent with disaster recovery plan objectives. Develops reports and presentations on infrastructure products and new technology for all levels of management and technical staff. Coordinates the development of the overall project plans and timetables. Manages budget, monitors progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly. Provides input on policy issues.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Partners with various technology teams to establish data solutions and architecture for large, complex initiatives that align with the enterprise data architecture strategy and strategic technology and platform decisions
+ Develops clear and concise responses to questions from senior management and control partners regarding the enterprise data architecture strategy
+ Manages multiple priorities in a matrixed environment with attention to detail and accuracy
+ Communicates effectively to influence agreement between partners and escalates items, as needed, to ensure execution activities remain on track
+ Ensures all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies and standards are met
+ Manages relationships with business and technology partners and creates an inclusive and healthy working environment to resolve organizational impediments and blockers
+ Educates data management teams on enterprise data architectural principles, processes, and routines
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 10+ years of experience in writing SQL queries
+ 10+ years of JAVA and/or web development experience
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Detail oriented with the ability to handle a variety of tasks; works in a self-directed manner and takes a proactive approach to job responsibilities
+ Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work, manage complexity and deliver solutions on deadlines
+ Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
+ Ability to work with the stakeholders to understand the concerns, risks and issues
+ Acting as a liaison between the business and its information (IT) department
+ Demonstrated passion for intellectual curiosity and accuracy as well as the ability to research issues and identify root cause and patterns.
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Experience and / or knowledge of Data Privacy Laws
+ Experience and / or Knowledge of Privacy by Design concepts
