Job Description:

In this Sr Cybersecurity Engineer role, you’ll provide expert security guidance to application and partner Teams, helping them remediate vulnerabilities, manage risk, and navigate policy exceptions. You’ll deliver hands-on training in key cybersecurity systems and automated environments, while also identifying and engineering solutions to complex security challenges. As part of the Team responsible for baseline cloud security, you’ll build secure infrastructure components, enhance Developer experience, and instrument visibility across over one million cloud resources. Your work will support accelerated delivery through secure CI/CD pipelines, enterprise integration, and platform development in AWS—all within a collaborative Agile environment. ResponsibilitiesProvide security guidance to application and Partner Teams to remediate security vulnerabilities, risk items, and policy exceptionsDeliver training for clients in use of the key Cybersecurity systems and automated environmentsIdentify Cybersecurity problems, plan solutions, recommend software and systems, and coordinate developments in an orderly manner to meet business requirementsAct as an agent for change to reflect the latest Cybersecurity standards and practicesServe as an enterprise subject matter expert (SME) and advocate of IT Security standards and reference architecturesAct as a Mentor to both Co-Hearts in Cybersecurity and Partner TeamsRemain abreast of industry trends and develop business cases for changesLead team to find best solution and offering thought leadership while ideating and challenging group thinkOversee immediate response and maintenance to production program issuesPartner with production testers to identify defects and complete testingMay perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesSkilled in Agile best practices and continuous improvementSkilled in at least one or more cloud computing technology and its concepts such as AWSSkilled in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) development (Terraform, CloudFormation or similar) and automated configuration management using configuration-as-code (CaC) development (Chef, Puppet, Ansible or similar)Skilled in implementing Cybersecurity specific Integration Tests providing Identity, Security Policy, and CryptographySkilled in at least one or more performance, logging and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, ELK Stack, AppD and their integration into platform tools such as AWS CloudWatchSkilled in at least one or more credential management tools and solutions like AWS Secrets Manager, CyberArk or Hashicorp VaultSkilled in creating parameterized build jobs for Continuous Integration of Security and environmental variablesKnowledge of at least one or more existing elements in value pipeline, such as PingFederate, eDirectory, Active Directory, CyberArk, or Micro Focus IDMSkilled in at least one or more scripting and development language such as Python, Go, or JavascriptSkilled in excellent communication, collaboration, organization, problem solving, and prioritization skillsEducationRequired: High School Diploma or GEDRequired: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information systems or similar fields of study or equivalent advanced level experience

Pay & Benefits

Competitive market salary from $141,000 per year to $157,100 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
