PCG is looking for an engaging, outgoing, experienced self-starter who will help us grow our education business in the Pacific Northwest. The candidate is expected to become familiar with education leaders as well as the issues that state and local education agencies are grappling with. This candidate will be evaluated on the business opportunities created and the revenue generated from those identified opportunities.
The Senior Consultant will manage complex projects and/or produce sophisticated deliverables; they hire, train and supervise staff; work independently with minimal supervision; serve as an internal consultant to other projects or product lines; play a key role in proposals and sales presentations and present at conferences.
The Senior Consultant will take a client-centric view and apply a consultative approach to understanding and solving complex problems faced by state and local education agencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of state and local strategies that expand PCG’s impact and business across the State of Washington and the Pacific Northwest. The Senior Consultant will provide local leadership, partnership, and expertise in supporting state education agency and school district clients in their efforts related to special education, Medicaid reimbursement, data management and use. While a remote role, it is expected that the successful candidate reside within Washington State, have a strong reputation within that state, and be able to travel to client locations as needed to meet with and support clients.
**Duties And Responsibilities**
+ Serves as project manager and subject matter expert, independently managing complex projects, staff, and tasks while ensuring compliance with federal requirements and maintaining client interaction.
+ Develops and executes growth strategies, identifying and following up on new sales opportunities.
+ Provides expertise in complex federal regulations, analyzing and interpreting federal and state laws, and reviewing business operations for service and efficiency improvements.
+ Develops communication plans, elicits requirements from key stakeholders, and facilitates client discussions.
+ Identifies gaps and shortcomings and determines necessary workarounds.
+ Plans and monitors ongoing project tasks.
+ Delegates tasks and responsibilities to team members.
+ Assesses best practices and compliance errors and provide technical assistance to clients.
+ Leads proposal writing teams and prepares written reports and materials for clients.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor degree or 10 years’ experience required, graduate degree preferred.
+ 5-10 years’ relevant work experience.
+ Experience in the areas of information technology, finance/business operations, k-12 education, and special education is highly desirable.

**As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $90,100-$116,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.**
