For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations or another related field. 10+ years of procurement experience in a high-paced, multi-location environment. Determined, results oriented, and motivated to work effectively without direct supervision. Knowledge of purchasing systems and principles including experience with low-cost country sourcing, auctions, VA/VE, and other leveraging tools. Analytical skills coupled with intellectual curiosity for root cause and countermeasures. Authorized to work in Mexico. Fluent in Spanish and English Able to travel 20 % of the time Excellent communication with different level of hierarchy at suppliers and internally Experience in a matrix environment and with remote hierarchy Ability to organize and handle large amounts of information with strong organization skills and Ability to work with high pressure, to define the right priorities High persuasion skills with supplier escalations and negotiations Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (pivot tables & PowerPoint) and Oracle
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Tech savvy, with emphasis on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JDE/SAP/QlikView, Portal, Insight, IBEE, and Team Center. Strong project management and team leadership skills with the ability to develop strong support for change with all levels of internal and external organizations. MCIPS / APICS membership, equivalent or qualified by experience. Comprehensive knowledge of selected commodities. Critical thinking and ability to be forward looking, envision the potential and long-term goals.
