Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025. The Sr Business Solutions Manager will be part of our Film & TV Studios Technical Solutions team and will report into the Studios Technology Solutions organization.  This role will manage various functional and technology stakeholders on analytics initiatives for the Film business to support the growth and adoption of data and analytics.  Business support areas will include, but not necessarily be limited to, Global Data Strategy, Film Strategy & Business Development, Marketing, Theatrical Distribution and Finance. The role will manage technical program delivery and support for these business areas and serve as an engagement liaison to business stakeholders and technology teams across our divisions. In addition to supporting the NBCU business units on data and analytics, this role will partner with technical operations and engineering teams to support enterprise initiatives for the advancement and growth of data and analytics as a key strategy across our business. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Engage with a broad range of Film business users to drive business requirements, analyze data and processes, and create work products that lead to the implementation of technical solutions + Manage and facilitate technology requests for supported business groups across Film + Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology partners for the roadmap planning, analysis, requirements and prioritization of product features + Partner and collaborate across our Enterprise Teams on implementing technical solutions to support our Film business  + Manage and support analytics projects across Global Data Strategy, Strategy & Business Development, Marketing, Theatrical Distribution and Finance these could include the following: + Projects for implementing and/or developing new solutions, or supporting and enhancing existing systems + Maintenance projects for technology upgrades, infrastructure migrations, etc. + Manage the budgets and project finances for the projects assigned, and support resource planning + Manage 3rd party solution providers to ensure platforms are being maintained and managed to meet technology and business needs.   + Manage scope and estimates, and review proposals and statements of work as needed + Manage the business stakeholder communication across projects / initiatives + Partner with Cyber on Studio Group initiatives requiring Cyber approval / review + Serve as the escalation point for the day-to-day operational activities across the landscape of solutions utilized by the business + Create innovative solutions to support the Studio Group + All other duties as assigned Requirements/ Qualifications:   + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience + 12+ years of experience in project or program management   + 12+ years of experience developing technology solutions to address business needs, applying software disciplines, with a strong understanding of software development +  12+ years of experience in application production support, change management processes and have a structured approach to troubleshooting issues and bug fixes + 10+ years of experience working with data and analytics tools and platforms + 10+ years of working with advanced data platforms and technologies such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Vertex AI, Cloud Composer, BigQuery ML, AutoML (AWS), and S3, with deep understanding in Python and SQL for building scalable data pipelines, performing complex analyses, and deploying machine learning models. + 10+ years of experience in leading data visualization tools including MicroStrategy, Looker Studio, Tableau, and Power BI to design and deliver impactful dashboards and reports that drive business insights and strategic decisions + Must have Global Media & Entertainment working experience + Film & media industry experience with an understanding of the digital landscape as well as the drivers influencing consumer behaviors + Good overall understanding of technology, including but not limited to system architecture, infrastructure, integration, software development processes, and security technologies + Strong ability to perform analysis of small to medium complex business, workflow, and technology issues to support decision-making + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to utilize technology to create innovative solutions  + Superior business engagement skills Additional Requirements: + Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Salary Range: $140,000 - $170,000 (bonus eligible).
