We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer with expertise in Windows System Administration, cloud administration (Azure and GCP), and scripting (PowerShell or similar). The ideal candidate will be well-versed in DevOps practices, automation tools, and cloud management. This role requires hands-on experience with tools like Terraform, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Ansible. Knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and dashboarding tools like Power BI or Grafana is highly desirable. The successful candidate will play a key role in automating and optimizing workflows across on-prem and cloud environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and administer Windows-based systems and cloud environments (Azure, GCP), ensuring availability, performance, and security. • Develop, test, and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or other scripting languages (Java,Python, Bash) to automate system configurations, deployments, and cloud resource management. • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps to streamline development and operations processes. • Build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible. • Work closely with DevOps and development teams to implement containerization strategies using Kubernetes and Docker. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, automation, and system deployments. • Continuously improve and implement best practices for cloud automation and system administration. • Implement and maintain dashboarding solutions using tools like Power BI or Grafana to visualize system performance, automation metrics, and key operational KPIs. • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to drive a culture of automation, innovation, and continuous improvement. • Document automation processes, infrastructure configurations, and system procedures. Key Requirements: • 6+ years of experience in Windows System Administration and cloud administration with Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Proficient in PowerShell or other scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). • Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps. • Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker) is a plus. • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automating cloud infrastructure deployments. • Experience with dashboarding tools like Power BI or Grafana to monitor system performance and automation workflows. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for both on-prem and cloud environments. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in information systems, Information Security, or related fields • Certifications in Azure, GCP, or relevant DevOps tools. • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack). • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and governance.
