As a Senior ATE Dry Etch Process Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for successful and effective transfer of new technologies into MTV in assigned area(s) that enable fast matching of the sending fab performance on yield improvement and cycle time reduction towards TTMCY with phenomenal collaboration with sending site transfer counterparts, MCT and all other related departments. It is important to have a clear comprehension of the site, department, and area objectives, project timelines, and breakthroughs! It is encouraged that you complete your assigned projects and tasks in a timely and accurate manner. You will need to demonstrate a high level of ownership with excellent workmanship and interpersonal skills throughout the year!
**Responsibilities:**
+ **Ensure Safety Compliance** : Complete required safety training and follow all Micron safety policies during work execution.
+ **Lead DRAM Tech Transfers** : Manage and oversee DRAM technology transfer projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
+ **Cross-Site Collaboration** : Build strong communication and collaboration with sending fabs, MCT, and internal teams through regular meetings and updates.
+ **Project & Program Execution** : Drive alignment projects to support technology qualification, yield improvement, and volume ramp-up.
+ **Tool & Process Matching** : Ensure tool and process matching (GCP, PRD, TRD) with sending sites, including CEERB compliance and documentation.
+ **Data Collection & Analysis** : Lead PRD/TRD data collection, setup, and analysis to meet transfer expectations and quality standards.
+ **Material & Equipment Readiness** : Coordinate with Procurement, IQC, and Planning to ensure FOAK/SOAK materials and tools are ready and matched.
+ **Documentation & Training** : Ensure high-quality transfer of training materials and documentation to all relevant stakeholders.
+ **Monitoring & Issue Resolution** : Track lead lot health, respond to process abnormalities, and support yield matching and derivative part startups.
+ **Continuous Improvement** : Gather lessons learned, implement mitigation plans, and support NPI timelines and MSR action completion.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
+ 3+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor fabrication, including direct experience with dry etch equipment or process engineering.
+ Experience in equipment ownership: problem-solving with equipment, preventive maintenance, and performance improvement.
+ Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Proven commitment to safety protocols and quality standards in a cleanroom environment.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related engineering or technical field.
+ 5+ years of experience in dry etch equipment engineering, with exposure to ATE (Automated Test Equipment) integration or support.
+ Proven track record in driving process optimization, cost reduction, and equipment reliability improvements.
+ Familiarity with SPC, APC, FDC, and data analysis tools for process and equipment monitoring.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and act on process and equipment data.
+ Experience leading or mentoring others.
+ Project management experience, including vendor interactions and equipment installations or upgrades.
+ Ability to work cross-functionally with process, equipment, and manufacturing teams in a fast-paced environment.
