This role is responsible for managing the engagement and execution of global market research projects and managing a consistent, timely market research process across global products. The job requirement includes the individual to have relevant knowledge of primary market research and understanding of key business drivers to improve processes. The role includes defining problem statement & research approach, finalizing questionnaires, developing recruiting lists, aggregating data, interpreting results, cross-referencing secondary sources, and reporting findings. The role demands the individual to execute as well as distill insights in concise and effective manner. The role requires a close partnership and engagement with market researchers based in the US to understand their ongoing business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution: as a brand engagement leader, responsible forLeading multiple projects and deliver on quality execution & on-time delivery of the quantitative market research projectsCollaborating with brand & MR team stakeholders in approach development, and to present final outputs to team & provide recommendationsDetailed quality check to ensure all standard quality check measures are metProposing & implementing analytical methodologies & techniques that delivers on strong story and insights generation with effective visual, written, and verbal delivery to business partnersProject ManagementLeads larger and longer projects with higher visibility & impact; facilitates multiple team / business partners; able to develop project plansPartner with Lilly Project Managers and Privacy team to ensure all necessary compliance and finance guidelines are met during project set-up & executionEducates self and others on complex analytical methodologies & approaches / data centric market research solutions and gains supports for ideas; communicates effectively with a purpose; able to influence the project team & stakeholders to seamlessly execute the projectEstablishes key relationships with business partners; develops solutions to meet needs. Is able to drive conversations with business partners and advisors leading to increased capability and project penetrationEducation Requirements: MBA/Post Graduation from a Tier-I institutionExperience related requirements4 to 8 years of experience in quantitative discipline and advanced statistics within consulting organization, brand teams in pharma companies or healthcare consulting companies with demonstrated ability to efficiently execute in an ambiguous environmentTechnical SkillsStrong experience within quantitative market research with sound data acumen & skills Statistical and advanced analytical background and their application in Quantitative Market ResearchShould have relevant knowledge & working experience on statistical and complex analytic approaches like Conjoint, Customer Segmentation (Decision Tree, K-Cluster, Rain Forest, etc.), Bayesian Networks, Regression & Correlation, Pricing, Factor analysis, etc.Requires commercial and pharma experience (would be value addition if available). Provides strategic insights to Lilly Advisors, Brand Teams to shape/develop program/brand strategy. Brings deep understanding of data synthesis and awareness on data innovations within quantitative market research in an external environmentKnowledge of statistical packages and tools (SPSS, Q, or similar) and Commercial databases like MIDAS, LAAD, APLD, etc.Experience working on tools like R, Python; and hands-on with data visualization & reporting tools like Tableau and Power BIIntegrates research, intelligence, and alternate datasets to generate insights that facilitates decision makingShould have demonstrated traits of customer excellence and capability expansion leading to business continuityInnovation mindset and strong drive for change; and bring best practices from external environment that delivers on strong value and impactSoft SkillsStrong work ethic, personal motivation, and team player who is dynamic and result orientedProven teamwork and collaboration skills.
