The Senior Analytics Consultant is a seasoned Business Intelligence and Data Analytics professional responsible for delivering high-impact analytics solutions across various UKG products, including UKG Pro, Dimensions, and UKG Datahub. This role involves deep engagement with cross-functional teams and strategic stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into actionable insights and scalable solutions.
As a thought leader in analytics delivery, the Senior Consultant leads the design, development, and deployment of custom reporting solutions, data models, and visualizations while ensuring adherence to best practices in performance, scalability, and user experience. The consultant is expected to proactively identify opportunities to add value, mentor junior consultants, and drive solution innovation and standardization within the team.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical expertise, business acumen, and consultative skills, and is capable of leading end-to-end analytics engagements with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders, translating them into optimized and scalable analytics solutions.
• Own the end-to-end implementation of Analytics and Data Hub solutions, including deployment, configuration, testing, and post-deployment support.
• Design advanced dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Cognos, BIRT, Power BI, or similar, tailored to strategic business needs.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data pipelines to support analytics solutions, including complex data transformations and aggregations.
• Provide consultative guidance on data governance, visualization best practices, and analytical storytelling to internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of customer datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and actionable insights, and present findings in executive-ready formats.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to drive continuous improvement and standardization in analytics offerings.
• Serve as a mentor and technical advisor for junior consultants and new hires, contributing to knowledge sharing and team capability building.
• Contribute to the creation of reusable assets, frameworks, and solution templates for the Analytics practice.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in BI, data engineering, and cloud platforms to enhance solution design and delivery excellence.
• Act as a key point of escalation and support for critical customer engagements and project delivery challenges.

Qualifications:
• 7–11 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Consulting roles.
• Proven expertise in designing and delivering advanced BI solutions and dashboards.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cognos, BIRT, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL; experience with performance tuning and complex query development.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or AWS is required.
• Experience in ETL development using tools like Talend, Informatica, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• Exposure to scripting languages such as Python for data wrangling or analytics is desirable.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and reporting architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to lead customer engagements, drive conversations with senior stakeholders, and manage delivery risks.
• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience mentoring junior team members or leading small project teams is preferred.
• Ability to work across global time zones and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
