Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.

Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.

This position is part of SAP Basis team whose objective and responsibility will be to support SAP Landscape and its core functionalities. Apart from day to day support, person will be of part core team to enhance and implement new functionalities of SAP systems that covers wide spectrum of SAP best practices and methodologies to continuously improve operations of our IT business solution. This is technical hands on role with experience handling SAP projects and partnered with other teams to support non SAP interfaces.

Accountabilities

Daily administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and tuning of a complex SAP production environment.Predictive analysis of production and test system problems determines causes and takes timely corrective action.Works with the Unix/Linux/Windows Administrator on capacity planning and performance tuning of servers hosted on GCP cloud. Beginner experience in GCP/AWS cloud solution or any cloud solutions is preferred.Creates and maintains accurate documentation & Provides support to the SAP application team during development and implementation projects.Provides support for HA(High availability) & DR(disaster recovery) as needed.Able to present and interact with business process owners at Cardinal HealthPrepare necessary documentation for configuration, troubleshooting and ongoing projects in SAP landscape.Partners with Enterprise Architecture teams for product selection and product capability roadmaps and information governance processes.Collaborate with SAP teams in the areas of development of new functionality or ramp-up initiative.A minimum of 1 year of progressive SAP Basis Administration with Hana experience, including performing SAP implementations, upgrades and SAP EHP support pack projects is required.Experience with GCP/AWS/Azure cloud solutions.Actively learning the fundamentals of SAP Basis administration, including understanding SAP architecture, system landscape, and key tools and technologiesUnderstanding of SAP ABAP & Java systems environment is preferred.Experience with solution manager and OSS Experience with TMS (Transport Mgmt System) modules Knowledge of Linux/DB2 database administration preferred.Knowledge of good system management principles is preferred.Participating in the process of creating and managing backups of SAP systems and data, and assisting with data restoration when neededGeneral knowledge of other operating systems such as Windows, RHEL or SUSE is preferred.Ability to provide a high level of customer service.Strong analytical skills with Data science and Analytics is preferred.Effective interpersonal skills & Strong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time management skills.Maintaining up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.SAP Netweaver ABAP & Java Administration.ABAP and Java performance TuningExperience in Gen AI
