Job Summary
The Sr Analyst - Classification is responsible for the accurate and timely classification of medical devices, pharmaceutical products, and related goods in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines, including the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and other relevant resources. This role also involves conducting Country of Origin Determinations, assisting with Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and special program eligibility assessments and applicable PGA determinations. The Sr Analyst - Classification will collaborate with multiple teams and departments to ensure compliance and optimize trade operations. Cross training will be required to provide coverage during peak periods and special projects.

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a scientific field related to medical devices or pharmaceuticals) preferred2+ years of experience in classification within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferredCustoms Broker's license or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) certification preferred.In-depth knowledge of the HTS, General Rules of Interpretation (GRIs), and other relevant classification principles.Must be familiar with PGA (Partner Government Agencies) and related tasksExperience with Country of Origin Determinations and FTA eligibility requirements.Familiarity with medical device and pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., FDA requirements) is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Experience with trade compliance software and databases.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Anticipated salary range: $67,500 - $96,400
