Your role at BaxterYou will work with the execution of recording of manual journal entries, preparing and approving of account reconciliations, and completing month-end close actives (UCAN and LATAM) entities. Prepare some additional repots loves balance sheet and PL to share with COE team. In addition, this role will provide accounting reports and information to business partners, will provide information for internal and external audit support, and will aid in statutory accounting for these areas. You will also support various ad-hoc projects, as needed.

What you'll be doingEnsure and maintain Baxter book-keeping and accounting up-to-date, including general journal entries, month, quarter and year end reporting of Companies within corporate policies and deadlines.
Professionally work well with Baxter staff to understand and respond to any reporting requirements, issues/queries.
Lead the way in various external/internal audits by providing adequate documentation as vital, to align with various regulations.
Prepare and analyze account reconciliations.
Review, standardization and optimization of accounting processes.
Ability to Support and guide other members of the accounting team as the need arises.
The preparation of financial reports as requested for various purposes.
What you'll bringBachelor’s degree Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
5+ years experience in ledger based accounting in a Shared Service Center a requirement
Knowledge/experience of SAP a must
Proficiency in Excel (pivot, VLOOKUP, index match and shortcut key use)
English knowledge (B2+), both written and verbal
Continuous learner with a positive approach to learning
Work experience in general accounting processes and implementation projects (all stages)
Proven track record to prioritize work & problem tackle with strong analytical skills required
Strong ERP knowledge (JDE, Oracle) a plus
Use of reporting tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) highly preferred
Experience in US-GAAP, IFRS, NIF will be an advantage.
