Your role at BaxterAt Baxter, we are building an outstanding Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization. WWe are implementing a transformative program which will streamline processes, improve systems, improve forecasting accuracy, strengthen business partnerships, and improve opportunities for personal skill-building and professional growth.
This position interacts with: Local Business Finance Teams, Accounting Centre of Excellence, MPT Finance VP and the MPT FP&A Center of Expertise (CoE) team, based in Costa Rica. This position will assist in coordinating the planning processes, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly performance reviews. In addition, this positThe position will support highly beneficial business analytics as well as drive the development of senior management presentations for this multifaceted and growing segment.

What you'll be doingCoordinate & own the consolidation at a Segment level of Long Range Plan (LRP), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Quarterly Forecast, and monthly performance.
Prepare a comprehensive monthly reporting package for management, including analysis of business performance against budget vs. actual results for both P&L and Cashflow.
Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of deliverables
Coordinate closely with local country business partners and finance teams to review, challenge and improve projections, budgets and historical results. Processes must consider and facilitate the success of diverse collaborators
Partner with Local County Teams, Accounting COE, FP&A Managers and Corporate teams within commercial and manufacturing/supply chain organizations to understand, drive and support decision making ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
Partner with Local County Teams, Accounting COE, FP&A Managers within commercial and manufacturing/supply chain organizations to analyse and forecast cashflow, driving alignment to corporate strategy
Perform strategic ad hoc reporting with heavy financial analysis tracking business performance to facilitate decision making and business support. This might include but not limited to pricing performance, sales, functions planning and spending.
Load budget and forecast adjustments into the system.
What you'll bringBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience working in a finance function; coupled with diversified experience in financial reporting, forecasting, planning, and ad hoc related analyses
Proficiency in technical and financial knowledge, including understanding of internal control requirements
English C1 or higher.
Excellent financial modeling skills and experience in statistical modeling techniques are a plus
Sophisticated knowledge in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning, and Cognos desired
Excellent social, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
