JOB DUTIES:

Creation of circuit schematics for new designs, modifying existing schematics, and conducting tolerance analysis to ensure proper operation. Lead product qualification efforts including writing test plans, supervising test activities, troubleshooting failures, reviewing/writing reports. Develop and perform tests to detect design issues and verify design robustness. Analyze failed product and determine root cause. Work in cross functional, international development teams.

 

YOU MUST HAVE:

8+ years of experience with analog circuit design, such as inverting, non-inverting, and transconductance amplifier configurations, along with familiarity with standard topologies of switching power supplies Proven ability to lay out multilayer PCBs to mitigate problems such as part interferences, high voltage spacing violations, and electrical noise susceptibility Proficiency using MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, & Word)

 

WE VALUE:

Understanding of requirements for embedded circuit design; signal conditioning, noise mitigations, transient protection, etc. Experience interfacing with approval agencies such as UL, CSA, TUV, etc. Familiarity with Mentor Graphics schematic capture and layout tools Experience with HVAC or residential appliances Understanding of C programming and fundamental programming/debugging techniques Collaboration with other engineers and professionals in an interactive, team-based setting
