Job Description

The purpose of this job is to, under limited supervision, review and file federal, state and local income tax returns with a focus on flow-through taxation.

In this role you will: 

Review federal, state and local income tax returns with a focus on flow- through taxation (i.e., S Corporations, Partnerships)Prepare responses to notices and audit information requests from various federal, state and local authoritiesSupervise and train entry-level staffAssist accounting department with tax account reconciliationsAct as the lead on other accounting projectsResearch and analyze technical tax issues

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting or related field requiredMaster’s degree in accounting or taxation preferredMinimum three year’s experience in public accounting or corporate/ public accounting preferredCertified Public Accountant (CPA) or pursuit of CPA preferredPartnership multi-state, multi-entity experience preferred

Specialized Knowledge

Intermediate Microsoft Office skillsTax researchAccounting and tax software skills
