Sr Account Strategist
World Vision is hiring a Senior Account Strategist to serve in the Marketing division. At a Glance  Role: Senior Account Strategies Reports to: Director, Brand Strategy and Content Location: Hybrid if near Seattle or Washington, D.C; Remote from within the U.S. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience (eight years). In addition to education or education equivalent, requires a minimum of eight (8) years’ related work experience. Previous experience working in a marketing agency and thorough knowledge of agency capabilities and offerings is essential. Mastery in developing client proposals and scopes of work (SOWs) as well as expertise in developing program/campaign goals and benchmarking required. Proficiency in program/campaign and project analysis, skill in creating integrated marketing plans aligned with clients' business objectives, and skill in providing strong brand stewardship for clients throughout the relationship, growing client relationships and successfully resolving conflicts, and expanding business within respective client accounts is required. Work Authorization:  Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A for any employer. Estimated hiring range is $105,000 - $125,000 The Job Provide strong brand stewardship and strategic direction for internal clients’ marketing programs and initiatives, to help meet their business objectives. In collaboration with the internal Creative and Project Management teams, develop marketing strategy and marketing plans, oversee creation of creative and project briefs, and ensure a high degree of strategic intent into all such programs and projects. Build strong client relationships, negotiate conflict resolution as needed, and provide ongoing strategic recommendations to support account and portfolio growth and profitability. Work closely with the Brand and Content Director and the marketing Internal Agency function team to scope solutions for prospecting and marketing to win new business. Act as the primary business owner for clients and project teams, ensuring high internal client satisfaction and successful project completion. Develop strategic recommendations beyond contracted engagements, focusing on implementation rate and positive account feedback. Ensure alignment of creative execution with account strategy, measured by campaign effectiveness. Resolve conflicts and manage negotiations, aiming for high resolution and negotiation success rates. Understand internal clients' portfolio and external peers and competitors, supported by thorough market analysis and competitive benchmarking. Conduct regular account reviews to ensure effective management and satisfaction. Manage out-of-scope requests at the program/campaign level, ensuring budget adherence. Ensure account contracts are signed before starting marketing Internal Agency function work, achieving high contract completion rates. Maintain professional internal/external relationships to ensure effective collaboration and support for achieving organizational goals. Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.   Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. You Bring These Skills Strong background in strategic client leadership, with proven success managing complex relationships and multi-initiative accounts in a fast-paced agency environment. Expertise in crafting integrated marketing plans, design briefs, and strategic recommendations that align with client goals and drive measurable impact. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and guide internal partners without direct authority. Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and organizational change, bringing resilience, adaptability, and strategic thinking to transformational work. Salary & Benefits + WVUS Pay Grade Level: 227 + Estimated hiring range is $105,000 - $125,000 The posted hiring salary range reflects pay for U.S. locations and is determined using market data and internal compensation guidelines. Actual compensation may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, and applicable laws. A different range may apply in certain locations.
