Job Summary:

PayPal is seeking a motivated Account Representative to support the acquisition and growth of Large Enterprise merchants across Hong Kong, Korea, and Taiwan (HKT). This individual contributor role suits a rising sales professional eager to build strong merchant relationships and drive adoption of PayPal’s payment solutions, especially for cross-border commerce.

Key responsibilities:

-Identify and engage enterprise merchants

-Support onboarding and promote cross-border capabilities

-Assist in developing growth plans and long-term relationships

-Participate in business reviews and resolve challenges

-Share merchant insights to inform product strategy

-Communicate product updates and support integration

-Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions

-Partner with Marketing on campaigns and collateral

-Support contract discussions with Customer Service

-Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

Pursue net new business through strategic prospecting and drive the sales cycle from prospecting to close.Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders during the initial sales cycle, acting as a trusted advisor by understanding clients' challenges.Analyze customer needs via discovery, articulate value, and develop strategies tailored to each organization, identifying potential products in collaboration with solutions architects.Deliver customized presentations, written proposals, and provide subject-matter expertise to drive forward new sales opportunities.Negotiate and close complex customer contracts, determining project scope, timeline, pricing, and agreements, ensuring seamless contract execution and customer onboarding.

Expected Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management 

Exposure to enterprise clients or complex sales cycles preferred 

Familiarity with online payments or eCommerce is a plus 

Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (written and verbal) 

Self-starter with a proactive mindset and ability to work independently 

Comfortable collaborating across teams and managing multiple priorities 

Willingness to travel within the region to support merchant engagement
