About the Job Sustainable operations are fast becoming the global norm. Reducing carbon footprint, consistently tracking and managing towards greater energy efficiency, and responsibly reporting ESG data to investors and stakeholders are just a few key components that make Brightly clients award-winners. The Brightly Senior Sales Consultant is proactive and consultative in selling, responsible for introducing Brightly energy and ESG software solutions to prospective customers in an assigned territory. You will work collaboratively with the Sales Leadership Team and cross functional team members to develop and manage an account acquisition strategy in your territory.
What you will do Develop and apply a detailed understanding of Brightly products, sales methodology, and processes to retire assigned quota via growth of assigned territory through outbound prospecting for new client acquisition, ownership of a sales pipeline, and collaboration with Sales Leadership. Drive multi-module sales, delivering maximum value to prospective customers. Ensure accurate and timely forecasts as well as opportunity updates for management visibility in sales pipeline. Complete and thorough ability to perform presentations to prospects focusing on selling and positioning Brightly solutions Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives. Work with sales team, managers, marketing, and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all sales, company, and client needs are met. Close sales by building rapport with prospect; explain product and service capabilities; ask pertinent discovery and qualification questions, overcome objections from prospects. Strive to build, maintain, and create strong customer relationships. Project Manage the procurement process for our prospects to allow for urgency and predictability. The pay range for this position is $75,000-85,000 and the annual commission target is 75-100% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.

What you need Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical field 4+ years of professional experience in an engineering, energy management, utility data management, sustainability, commercial real estate, and/or ESG reporting position Desire to continually grow and improve Strong Critical Thinking & Problem Solving Software – Ability to use CRM (Salesforce.com), Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Company Information Database/Wiki, team chat, & online video conferencing tools.
