You will be a valued member of our Infrastructure practice and work collaboratively with our Manager of Projects. **In this role, you will** + Design scalable, high-performance database architectures for hybrid environments, including on-premise and cloud platforms. + Own the modernization efforts, including flawless migrations to AWS RDS, Azure SQL, and other cloud-native services. + Lead all aspects of database environments within a managed services framework, ensuring end-to-end stability and optimization. + Partner with development and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient data solutions. + Reengineer and improve legacy systems while maintaining business continuity. + Document architectural standards, procedures, and guidelines to encourage continuous learning and improve system reliability. + Bring forward-thinking architecture to business-critical systems and improve reliability, speed, and security across the enterprise. + Collaborate, mentor, and guide teams to build future-ready solutions. **What** **you’ll** **need to succeed (required** **skills)** + A proven track record of 8 or more years in database architecture, design, and administration. + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with equivalent experience. + Expert in SQL Server and cloud-based databases such as Azure SQL, AWS RDS, NoSQL, and DocumentDB. + Proficiency with tools such as SQL Workbench, PgAdmin, Liquibase, and Power BI. + Experience using observability platforms like CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and Splunk. + Detailed understanding with infrastructure automation and DevOps tools like Ansible, Terraform, GitHub, and uDeploy. + Outstanding knowledge of data modeling, performance tuning, and ETL pipelines. **What** **will help you stand out (preferred** **skills)** + Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide architecture decisions and mentor team members. + Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or AWS Certified Database – Specialty.
