What You Will Do

Providing daily quality assurance support for supplied productsHandling non-conforming supplier productsDefining and maintaining the quality control plan related to each productOrganizing blocking activities for defective productsManaging the process of returning defective products to the supplierIdentifying the root causes of supplier quality issues in collaboration with suppliers and implementing effective quality solutions using the 8D methodologyContinuously monitoring and improving supplier qualityConducting supplier quality assurance audits – if necessary, together with the SQEReporting critical quality issuesOrganizing and coordinating rework or sorting activities by the supplier, external company, or HarmanDefining and minimizing costs arising from non-conforming quality (COPQ) in the supply chainImplementing corrective actions at the supplier quality level and for costs arising from non-conforming quality

What You Need to Be Successful

Higher education in a relevant fieldConfident user-level computer skills (MS Office, SAP)Independent, confident, constructive, and proactive work attitudeAbove-average problem-solving skills and quick decision-making ability

Bonus Points if You Have

Experience with ISO TS / IATF and VDARelevant professional experience in a similar fieldKnowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, 5W, SPC, CP, FMEA, PPAP, and APQP tools and methodsOutstanding analytical skills
