Position Highlights:

The Supervisor Plant Operations manages and supervises the completion and documentation of all scheduled preventive maintenance of the Organization's Asset Components that include all General, Life Safety, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Hydronic Systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes. This position is also responsible for providing indirect guidance to other supervisors for procurement of replacement equipment and parts and construction coordinators to provide project specific input to support the Facilities Infrastructure. Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital, research or clinic facilities.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrates technical knowledge depth for general, electrical, fire, mechanical, utilities and associated systems according to standards established by management team. Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) to complete the following: Schedule preventative maintenance and scheduled intervention activities on facility related equipment and building components Assign and audits Work Order system utilization by staff Manages Asset inventory and retirement documentation. Monitors shop and staff production and report on efficiencies Monitors work order documentation

 

Credentials and Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED required. Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a Facilities Operations/Maintenance role 

or

Minimum of five (5) years Hospital/Healthcare Facilities Experience is required with Certified completion of a Vocational Technical program and/or Associates in one of the engineering disciplines- Electrical, mechanical, controles, etc. Minimum of two (2) years Facilities/Support Services supervisory or lead experience is required. Ability to work various work shifts and/or weekends as needed. Ability to travel between other Moffitt Cancer Center facilities. Evidence of a good driving record and maintain a good record per Moffitt policy.
