Spring Boot and FileNet Developer

Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced developer (15+ years overall IT experience) with strong expertise in Spring Boot (3.x+), RESTful API development, and IBM FileNet P8. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications, providing technical leadership, and ensuring solutions align with business needs. Primary Responsibilities: Design and implement Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs Configure and manage IBM FileNet P8 environments (roles, document classes, proxy objects, search templates) Integrate applications with databases using Spring Data JPA Collaborate across development, operations, and business teams Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to team members Conduct testing, debugging, and performance monitoring with tools such as DynaTrace and Kibana Education and Experience Required: Associate degree and 6+ years systems analysis/application development experience, or 8+ years combined education/work experience Strong skills in Spring Boot, Java, REST APIs, FileNet P8, WebSphere, Linux, GitLab, MS SQL, Azure Cloud Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Education and Experience Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field Experience with Angular UI, FileNet deployment manager, and enterprise monitoring tools Prior banking/financial services experience a plus Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
