(Spring 2026) - Relay/Substation Design Admin (CP-Project Delivery)

Entergy’s Project Delivery Department is responsible for planning, designing, constructing, maintaining and operating over 15,000 miles of transmission lines across the four-state territory. 

  

Intern Job Description: 

Working in a team environment to assist engineers in day to day activities including but not limited to: 

Performs a wide variety of detailed engineering analysis, project scoping, cost estimation, and site visits Specification/procurement of relay equipment Prepare IFA/IFC relay design packages. 

Performing design based on project scoping and site visits 

Work collectively with multiple groups across different disciplines to support project needs 

Preparing operational one-line drawings 

Completion of as-built documentation 

Work on special projects to assist in improving grid reliability 

Support activities to comply with applicable industry standards (i.e., NERC, SERC) and other utility regulations as required Travel may be required for the position 

  

Education Requirements: 

Seeking Electrical Engineering major. 

Junior and Senior candidate with graduation dates of December 2024 and beyond preferred. 

Must be actively pursuing a bachelors, masters or doctorate degree as indicated above and at minimum classified as a sophomore or beyond.
