Sports Program Manager

Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5 years of experience in program or project management.
+ Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC).
+ Experience with consumer products or platform products.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Knowledge of generative AI development process.
+ Passion for global Sports.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

+ Manage day-to-day resource requirements, risks, and priorities.
+ Work on multiple high priority programs across the Sports portfolio from reliability of real time sporting events to new and novel Sports AI lead experiences.
+ Develop and execute feature planning, prioritization and operations of local product, engineering and design teams.
+ Interface with other product and engineering teams across Search to ensure we can deliver commitments with many integration points.
+ Evaluate team progress and risks in order to manage executive stakeholder expectations.
