KNWA/KFTA/KXNW is looking for a Sports Anchor/Reporter/Producer to join our team. This role writes and presents sports news both from the set and in the field. Shoots sporting events and helps run live shots in the field. We want someone who brings great story ideas to editorial meetings, cultivates sources, and wins the story each day on ALL platforms.  

You must have strong storytelling skills and an energetic/creative delivery.  We are looking for someone who is enterprising and passionate about Sports news, sportscast, sports shows and specials, interviewing guests, reporting on newsworthy events, reading highlights, reporting on major events for all platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging, and meaningful to sports news consumers.

Requirements:

College degree in Journalism/Communications/Broadcasting preferred; equivalent experience requiredTelevision sports news shooting and reporting experience preferred;Must be a team player who can multi-task under deadline pressure and work a flexible schedule.Must be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and have the ability to solve problems quicklyMust be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, weekends & ON CALL shiftsMust be able to work under deadlines and have the ability to multi-taskProficiency in Adobe Premiere and Sony CamerasSome travel required
