Major Responsibilities
Operational planning.
Develop annual detailed implementation plans, monthly and weekly plansMobilize local partners, CBOs and local government to share and validate the plansQuality Implementation
Understand business path for all key interventionsWork with Technical Officer, local partners, CBOs, government and churches to implement business pathSupport and facilitate, CBOs, local partners and churches’ engagement in sponsorship operations in the APMonitoring and Reporting
Mobilize CBOs, local partners and local government to develop an integrated monitoring planMonitor progress and achievements of plans in the Area ProgramOrganize review, reflection and learning forums for community, local organizations and governmentWork with TPOs to produce AP quality and timely reports (monthly, semi-annual and annual)Keep an updated M&E Database, analyze the data to inform decision makingGather sponsorship data from CBOs, local partners and share with sponsorship business systems Assistant for data processing in the single stepGather data, information, reports from Sponsorship business systems Assistant, share and follow up with CBOs, local partners for appropriate actionMonitor sponsorship performance in line with child sponsorship standards and take appropriate actionsSupport GIK management and reporting for all items distributed in his/her area of responsibilityBuild AP level partnerships, networks and coalitions with civil society organizations and local government institutions.
Facilitate networking with government institutions and other development partners within the AP in planning and implementation of development programmesParticipate in the identification, and nurture of local partnerships with grassroots civil society organizations, Churches and local administrationBuild and facilitate the capacity and growth of community and CBOs and local partnersWork with strong CBOs and partners on specific local advocacy issuesIntegration of cross cutting themes
Ensure adherence at AP of child protection policy, guidelines and protocols.Ensure implementation and integration of cross cutting business paths as appropriate (Faith & Dev, gender, advocacy, peace building and child protection)Ensure data disaggregation by gender and most vulnerable children.Other Competencies/Attributes:
Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.Perform other duties as required.Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
Minimum Qualification required: The person must have a University degree in education sciences, community development, public health, Agronomic sciences, project management, and other related fields Experience: At least three years’ experience working with communities for development.Preferred: Computer literate (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, etc.)English proficiencyTechnical Skills & Abilities:Communicating information effectively
