This career associate administers processes and leads activities to service the participant-supporter connection through quality church partner-participant communications and updates. As a seasoned associate, he or she supports church partners with Compassion systems, processes and standards in support of church facing teams. He or she ensures consistent and timely resolution to systematic and procedural inquiries from church partners and supporters. He or she may coach and review the work of other Sponsor Donor Support Associates.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Acts as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understands Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commits to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abides by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Reports any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately supports responses to incidents if they occur.Working directly or in cooperation with church facing teams and other appropriate staff, drives the gathering of communication resources from the church partner to support major issues and projects.Ensures communication between supporters and participants and church partners aligns with Sponsor Donor Support standards and develops production schedules with deadlines and provides feedback on the quality of information received.Collaborates with various field office staff to conduct and support marketing or external relations related information processing.Generates, organizes, records, and tracks child, mother-child unit and student information and correspondence documents ensuring deliverables are met. This includes project gift usage, letters, child updates (registration, transfers, exits, etc) and may include escalated supporter inquiries.Supports church facing teams in reviewing and correcting documents ensuring accuracy of data flowing from field offices to marketing and alignment with Compassion standards. Reviews participant and supporter communication-focuses dashboards and addresses needs in communication processes. Recognizes gaps in understanding of systems, processes, and Compassion standards and builds capacity for the church partner staff they support as needed.May enter electronic information involving participant and supporter data into database and runs database reports and maintains computer files. Also reviews, approves or rejects participant information received.Uses Compassion process and system knowledge to support program support activities and may occasionally provide some general administrative support.Provides technical advice to other staff on Sponsor Donor Support systems and programs commonly used in this role to other staff and client groups.Culture

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Administration, English, Communication, or a related field.Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skillsFluency in English is a mustAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM softwareFive years of relevant experience working in a related field, preferably in a non-profit organizationWell-organized, detail-oriented with a high level of accuracyEfficient and comfortable with performing admin routine tasksTravel RequirementsMay be required to travel less than 10% of the normal schedule*** Equivalent education, training, experience and/or certification may be substituted for any of the minimum qualifications listed above ***
