You will work with other systems engineers, functional SME’s and Technical Specialists by leveraging advanced technologies to improve quality and efficiency. Bachelor's degree in engineering. 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field. Knowledge of mechanisms, material properties and manufacturability of DC motors. Analyze complex systems. Develop benchmarks and innovative multi-functional solutions that meet vehicle cost, weight, labor and performance objectives and satisfy customer needs and expectations. Lead trade-off discussions in Systems Engineering Reviews. Develop benchmarks for cross-functional systems, including cost, weight, labor, and function. Work with purchasing to determine cost effective sourcing of the system. Cascade realistic/balanced targets and functional breakdown to deliver quality and value. Showing systems engineering application in SET Vehicle perspective, including System Design Sign-off. Analysis and modeling of electromechanical systems. Use SysML (Magic Draw) for an understanding of the system, ensuring that the components present their different interconnections in the Boundary Diagrams that allow an extraction of the Requirements involved in the system and full selection of the Test Methods to be evaluated at system level. Create free body diagrams and mathematical equations that represent the electromechanical system to create an Analytical Model and thus be able to create simulations in MATLAB. Analyze physical and functional interactions between mechanical elements and software elements of the complete sPHEV propulsion system.

Reduce potential issues and ensuring system level requirements are developed and signed off by Technical Specialists.Technology and Innovation:
Technical knowledge of tools: 3DX/Catia/TCe/FEDE, SysML (Magic Draw), CAE (IPS), Optimization (Simulink, MATLAB, LABVIEW, SIMSOLID), JIRA. Signal processing and analysis. Circuit analysis. Fundamentals of Control Theory. Data acquisition systems. HiL. Utilize LLM and Smart FMA AI for MBFMA to leverage advanced technologies and improve speed and accuracy.
