Position Summary & Highlights:
We are seeking a PRN per diem Speech Therapist who is available for work on an as-needed basis. This flexible schedule gives you the ability to diversify your working experience and skills.
What you will do:
Our ideal candidate assesses, plans, and implements specific speech therapy treatment programs for individual patients. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team. Supervises work of support personnel.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current Speech Language Pathologist licensure or a provisional permit issued by the State of Idaho.Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at time of hire.Minimum of 1 year of experience with swallowing disorders OR extensive dysphagia management experience within internship/externship program required.Previous experience in Acute Care or Rehabilitation preferredActive membership within ASHA preferred.Highlights and Benefits:
