Are you a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) looking to build something meaningful from the ground up? This is a unique per diem opportunity for a licensed SLP to help launch and shape our new speech therapy offering. Initial hours will be limited as we grow this service line, making this an ideal role for someone seeking flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to make a foundational impact.
What You’ll Do as a Home Health Speech Therapist:
Provide skilled speech therapy services to patients experiencing communication, cognitive, or swallowing difficulties.Deliver care based on an individualized Plan of Treatment developed in coordination with the referring physician and interdisciplinary team.Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders.Work collaboratively with patients, families, and caregivers to develop goals and teach techniques that promote safe communication and function.Educate patients and caregivers about exercises, tools, and strategies that support recovery and maintain abilities.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment, and progress.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care coordination to ensure comprehensive support for each patient. Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.Licensed and in good standing as a Speech Therapist (SLP) in the state of employment.Current CPR certification required.Knowledge of speech therapy techniques appropriate for home-based, medically complex patients.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to travel locally 100% of the time with reliable transportation.Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.Preferred Experience (Not Required):
