Job Summary Job Summary

The Gift of Speech offers both clinic and school placements for speech-language pathologists and speech-language pathology assistants. Speech-language pathology assistants are responsible for therapy, data tracking, assisting the SLP with preparation of therapy items, and clerical as needed. Speech language pathology assistants are responsible for therapy implementation to target goals established by the speech-language pathologist and documentation within specific site guidelines. The school speech-language pathology assistant will comply with all legal and ethical mandates set forth by the California Department of Education and the local school district.
