The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting isresponsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing anddocumenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed foreach individual student and the physician’s orders.
Minimum Requirements:
Active SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-LanguagePathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract. Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of ageGrade Level:
6-8
Caseload Details:
Provide speech and language services for 6-8th grade students at Middle School North, 2 self-contained classrooms in the building and support overflow of students on SLP at School of Dual Language.
Spanish speaking is PREFERRED but not required
Start/End Date:
August 6th – EOY
Start/End time:
7:20-2:50 M, T, TH, F and 7:20-3:05 W (MSN)
8:15-3:45 M, T, TH, F and 8:15-4 W (DLS)
(can pick based on candidate’s need)
